Mineralization Regularities of the Bainiuchang Ag Polymetallic Deposit in Yunnan Province, China

The Bainiuchang Ag polymetallic deposit is located at the junction between Cathaysia, Yangtze, China and Indosinian blocks. It has experienced many geological events, records excellent conditions for multiple mineralization. In this paper, elemental correlation analysis, cluster factor a semivariogram of Zn/Pb values, mineralization distribution trend surface analysis have been carried out based on prospecting database ore body model. Our results show that Ag–Pb–Zn were mineralized moderate temperatures. Tin was high temperatures, Sn values are well correlated. can be used tracing ore-forming fluid. revealed moderately spatially dependent, with good continuity in 100° 10° directions. spatial pattern grade correlates enrichment. shows Ag, Pb, Zn, Cu weak south strong north deposit, grades low north. High-temperature Sn, medium-temperature Cu, occurred south-to-north trend. Therefore, source fluid southern part mining area. During migration from to north, different minerals precipitated due changes physicochemical environment. patterns may provide basis studying formation guide exploration mine area similar deposits elsewhere.
